Barrel Stemline
Approximate # of points of diffusions:

We’ve pushed the laws of physics to offer one of the smoothest experiences.  Picking up where other artists have been content to push this technique, the family wanted to utilize this technique but provide a more functional experience. The barrel stemline offers optimum diffusion through 360 degrees of obstructed flow. It’s neither an up-grid or a down-grid; we wanted our stemline to be all around gridding. Similar techniques and functionality of our Barrel Stemline can be compared to a wide variety of gridded percolators on the market. We challenge you to experience the family’s take on 360 degrees gridding!
Gridded Tongue
Our Gridded Tongue is a complex melding of inspiration from the tried and true, mixed with the desire for more diffusion and flavor. Similar techniques and functionality can be compared to the Waffle Perc, King Stemline, or any other up-grid percolators on the market. We love this percolator because of the push of airflow it provides especially on the bottom chambers of our double percolator pieces. Perfect for upwards airflow while preserving flavor!

Double Showerhead
Similar to its namesake, the showerhead pushes water through all the cuts skillfully made by our blowers in a ring shape. We’ve always loved showerheads/circs personally and really wanted to take ours a bit further by doubling up. This allows greater capacity for air while wonderfully forcing air flow so that more bubbles are stacked with minimal effort, firing evenly around. Although the top row always fires, the bottom row doesn’t consistently fire during milking because air doesn’t naturally want to get pushed down when there are other alternatives above it. This design consideration comes into play during the carve & the end result is improved airflow throughout the entire hit.

Our Philosophies

The Pulse Glass Family’s Philosophies On…

Design | Service | Goals | Commitment | Work Ethic | Priority | Production | Learning | Giving Back | Perseverance | Giving | Making Mistakes

-What inspires our percolators?

The family gains inspiration from our percolators from artist and blowers across the industry. Our blowers bring to the table their individual skills, together their synergy creates the Pulse Glass line you see today. By encouraging an environment of continuous creativity adhering to our core design requirement, we are able to present the market with expert level craftsmanship displayed through techniques and skills that the family’s blowers have spent years honing. We do not like to take credit as original inventors of the existing designs & techniques we have spent our early years as a company really invested in ensuring our blowers are masters at each of our three unique award-winning percolators: the Double Showerhead, Gridded Tongue, & Barrel Stemline and now the 2014’s new micro series Barrel Drum!

-What are our core design requirements?

Every single member of our family has the ability to contribute to design & creation of our products. Of course we do require our master blowers to ensure our core design requirements are met:

1. Simple sophistication in aesthetics

2. Maximize functionality

3. Showcase craftsmanship & quality

Service at its core is a reflection of an individual’s character and integrity. The family believes that to provide excellent customer service & care it starts with having the right attitude and people!

In order to reach a destination, be it the top of the mountain or the top of an industry, the focus must be on hitting a series of short term, tangible goals, while keeping the long term vision in sight at all times.

“Goals allow you to control the direction of change in your favor.”

– Brian Tracy

There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you are interested in doing something, you do it when circumstances permit. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses… only results.

“Never talk defeat. Use words like hope, belief, faith, victory.”

– Norman Vincent Peale

…Work Ethic

Work ethic is the greatest common denominator between all successful people, and the cornerstone of every great organization. Our conviction drives us to outwork the competition.

“Nothing will work unless you do.”

– John Wooden

Priority Management is perhaps the single most important skill set to master in life. Because we believe that professional growth without personal growth is chaos, we strongly believe that ‘to live, to love, to earn, and to leave a legacy’ is the ultimate achievement.

“The mark of a great man is one who knows when to set aside the important things in order to accomplish the vital ones.”

– Brandon Sanderson

The family has a simple formula… blow whatever the people are asking for! Since we have a limited production capability being a small family owned & operated business, at times we do experience a backorder on some of our more popular hand-blown glass products. We make a serious attempt to manage this by rotating & limiting blowing a set quantity per model approved by our master blowers.

The family believes in launching only pieces that have been rigorously tested by us for optimal functionality and comfort of usage. We may take some time to perfect a particular design, but the result is always tried and tested true premier smokers glassware.

Success is a never ending learning curve. True leaders dedicate themselves to a lifelong pursuit of learning. We pride ourselves on the constant pursuit of personal and professional growth, and are perpetually seeking to break the next comfort zone and find the next challenge.

“We have an innate desire to endlessly learn, grow, and develop. We want to become more than what we already are. Once we yield to this inclination for continuous and never-ending improvement, we lead a life of endless accomplishment and satisfaction.”

– Chuck Gallozzi

…Giving Back

Being successful in business is one thing. Using your success as a tool to help positively impact the world is another. We strive to do both because we believe that happiness never decreased by being shared and we want to share the happiness we have from the opportunity to create our products for you.

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

– Winston Churchill

“The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving.”

– Albert Pike

Even against seemingly impossible odds – never give up. How you start is important, but in the end it is how you finish that counts. We like to think of the story of the hare and the tortoise.

“No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.”

— Calvin Coolidge

“History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.”

— B.C. Forbes

A vision is not just a picture of how things could be, but a call for something more. Our vision to become a renowned provider of quality glass products is a strong force in our family’s life and it is what drives us each and every day.

“Some believe there is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world’s ills– against misery, against ignorance, or injustice and violence. Yet many of the world’s great movements, of thought and action, have flowed from the work of a single man. A young monk began the Protestant reformation, a young general extended an empire from Macedonia to the borders of the earth, and a young woman reclaimed the territory of France. It was a young Italian explorer who discovered the New World, and 32 year-old Thomas Jefferson who proclaimed that all men are created equal. ‘Give me a place to stand,’ said Archimedes, ‘and I will move the world.’ These men moved the world, and so can we all.”

– Robert F. Kennedy

…Making Mistakes

1. Apologize specifically for what you did to everyone who has been affected by it.

2. Promise to never do it again.

3. Ask what can be done to make it right.
